The 4rd International Workshop on Machine Vision and Intelligent Control (MVIC-2026) provides a forum for scientists, engineers and researchers to discuss and exchange novel ideas, results, experiences and ongoing work on machine vision and intelligent control. The integration of machine vision and intelligent control technology is the key to promote intelligent manufacturing, electronic industry informatization and social management intelligence, and it is also the key to realize industrial transformation and upgrading. Based on image processing, optical theory, control theory, computer science, artificial intelligence, big data analysis, operations research and other disciplines, machine vision and intelligent control expands crucial technologies such as industrial imaging, perceptual intelligence, cognitive intelligence, and control systems, and their application fields include shipping, optoelectronics, agriculture, industry, medical treatment, transportation and public services, aerospace and other industries.
The MVIC workshop will be in-conjunction with the 8th IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Computational Intelligence (IEEE DSCI-2026) held in Exeter, UK, 26-28 October 2026. The MVIC-2026 workshop aims to identifying the challenges and problems in the development of machine vision and intelligent control, and to shape the future research direction by publishing high-quality theoretical and applied research results, and to explore the research challenges and progress in the design, implementation and evaluation of machine vision, intelligent manufacturing, precision optoelectronic equipment, image processing, smart society, intelligent data processing, data mining, information retrieval, machine learning and software development technologies.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to following Topics
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the workshop. The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over length charge) including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style (two columns, single-spaced, 10 fonts). Papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format (or postscript) by sending it as an email attachment to Dr. Guangyao Pang (pangguangyao@gxuwz.edu.cn).
All papers will be peer reviewed and the comments will be provided to the authors. The accepted papers will be published together with the DSCI-2026 by the IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI). At least one of the authors of any accepted paper is requested to register the paper at the conference. More information is available on IEEE DSCI website: https://hpcn.exeter.ac.uk/dsci2026/.
